DESCRIPTION:Save the Date and join us for UniteBoston’s Fundraising Party at PKL on January 14! \nStart off 2024 with some fun with the UniteBoston community. This year’s fundraiser will be at PKL\, a venue in South Boston where we will have the lounge area to hang out\, play cornhole and shuffleboard\, eat great food\, and hear about what is coming next for UB. This is our seventh annual fundraiser – there is no cost to attend\, but there will be an opportunity to give to UniteBoston’s bridge-building work. Kids are welcome too! \nOur goal is to raise $15\,000 by January 14\, 2023 to support the allocation of resources to refine our strategic planning process\, explore available resources related to barriers to unity\, evaluate gaps\, and collaborate with local partners. Plus\, for this year’s fundraiser\, UB is providing a matching grant up to $5\,000 for the Race & Christian Community Initiative’s experiential learning weekend on the history of slavery in Boston. That means your impact will be doubled by supporting two organizations\, rather than just one!
