DESCRIPTION:On Palm Sunday\, April 9\, join us at the Church of the Advent on Beacon Hill at 8p for the liturgy of Compline\, preceded by Lucernarium\, an evening service of sacred lamp-lighting. This liturgy of prayer before bed in the custom of early Christian monasticism\, with its very ancient roots\, is a wonderful way to end the weekend prayerfully and ready oneself for the coming week. And what could be a better time than the beginning of Holy Week to try on a new spiritual discipline? \nJoin us to mark deepest Lent with vigilance and reverence\, as well as to expand your habit of practicing daily prayer.
