DESCRIPTION:If you want to be truly inspired\, join us on Thursday\, August 10th from 6:30-8:30pm for an evening of celebration as we hear the stories of our 2017 Lydia Award nominees.  We are honoring three micro-entrepreneurs from around the world who each started a business with a very small loan\, have escaped poverty\, overcome challenges and grown their business to the point that they can meet the needs of their families\, provide employment for others and have a great impact on their communities. This award is named after Lydia in Acts 16\, the seller of purple dye who hosted the church in her home. \nThis is a free event and will include great food from the countries of the nominees \, stories of these three modern day “Lydias”\, and an opportunity for you to cast your vote for this year’s winner.  This will be in room 205 of the Adult Learning Center (2 Militia Drive\, Lexington campus) and will take place right after the Global Leadership Summit being hosted at Grace Chapel Lexington. So feel free to come on over\, have a bite to eat and see what God is doing to extend His kingdom through the PEER Servants micro-finance partners.
