SUMMARY:Community Service Outreach With Jesus Across the Border
DESCRIPTION:This year\, we’re excited to be partnering with Jesus Across the Border for their “Loving & Learning” event. \nOn Saturday\, the UniteBoston community is invited to serve alongside Apple Valley Catholic Young Adults and Jesus Across the Border to deliver bags and sandwiches to individuals in the Boston Common area. Meet us in the hub of the city\, Boston Common\, as we collect donations of hygiene products and children’s books for the amazing Catholic Charities of Boston AND use our gifts and abilities to make loving connections through street ministry to those suffering from homelessness in the area! \n-We will meet at St. Anthony’s Shrine (100 Arch Street\, Boston\, MA) for the welcome and short orientation from 11 AM – 11:45 AM (Please arrive on time!!)\n***PARKING can be found at Boston Common Public Garage OR there is street parking.\n-Finally we will break up into small groups and go out delivering the bags of food with generous\, loving hearts to those we meet along the way!\n**As your “Entry Ticket” please bring a hygiene product or children’s book for Catholic Charities OR you can donate to cover the cost of food here: https://tinyurl.com/JATBCommunityServiceDonation \nFor more information\, and to register for ANY part of this event please visit: https://tinyurl.com/JATBGivesBack\n**A Waiver\, found here ^\, must be completed if you are participating in the Saturday afternoon portion.**

DESCRIPTION:Join JESUS aCROSS the Border as we break the deep freeze of winter with a Latin Fiesta! We are thrilled and honored to formally announce the founding of a BRAND NEW Catholic young adult organization in Cambridge\, MA!  Formerly known as yHOPE\, St. Mary’s Young Adults Group is ready to shake things up\, both on the dance floor and within the world of Catholic young adult groups. We are excited to collaborate with them for this Latin Fiesta to officially unveil their exciting new look! \nThis Latin bilingual Fiesta will begin at 7:30 PM with Adoration\, Confession\, and Praise and Worship music led by the immensely talented Higher Love Worship Band!  This will be followed by a bilingual Spanish Young Adult Mass at 9 PM\, celebrated by Fr. Carlos Suarez.  St. Mary’s Young Adult Group will help us end the night on the right foot as we step on the dance floor for a festive dance party\, Latin dance lessons and all! We hope that you’ll join us and make sure to bring ALL of your friends\, because you surely won’t want to miss this event! \nOur events are geared towards young adults\, 18-35 years of age\, but are open to ANYONE who would like to find out more about our mission.
