DESCRIPTION:Creche is a faith-based nonprofit that creates intentional communities (i.e. affordable\, intergenerational co-housing) in partnership with local congregations. We’re a pretty young organization – we incorporated in 2018 and have launched four communities since then in Allston\, Dorchester\, North Cambridge\, and Newton Centre. We’re looking for a Program Manager – someone internally focused whose primary responsibility is supporting and growing the communities we’ve launched\, ideally someone with experience working in communities of color and a background in organizing\, social work\, or pastoral care. The house is close to the Orange Line and the South West Corridor Bike Path\, and is fully of really awesome people. \nThe house is largely queer-identified\, and potential housemates who face systemic housing oppression are given priority. You don’t need to be Episcopalian to join\, but our approach to community draws from quakers\, monasticism\, and other Christian traditions\, so an interest in Christianity is helpful. \nRent is $750-$850 depending on income.
