Hello!
My roommate and I are looking for one more female roommate to move into our lovely 3 bedroom/1 bath apartment in Brookline. Our goal is to create a respectful living environment where roommates uphold basic shared living space responsibilities, cleaning duties, and healthy communication. Sharing occasional meals and spending time with each other is encouraged and welcomed. No smoking of any kind (prohibited by apartment management), no signifiant-other overnight stays, and no parties, please. Coolidge Corner is a great neighborhood in Brookline, and is very close to Longwood (15 min. walk) and Boston University (20 min. walk). The apartment is very charming, and Marana has lived here for almost 10 years as a renter. The room that is available is $900/month (includes all utilities). The bedroom is unfurnished but the rest of the apartment is fully furnished. It is a fantastic location and steps away from the T. This is a great fit for a responsible, mature woman that is a working professional, grad/med student, or postdoc looking to be a part of a clean-living, tidy, and considerate living environment.
About Marana – I have a background in music and non-profit management. I’m an extroverted introvert; I like my downtime, but am friendly and love to spend quality time with my close friends, family, and Christian church community. I enjoy nature, taking walks, going to museums, and exploring. Mutual respect and open communication is important to me.
About Kimberly – I am a postdoctoral researcher at Boston University. I’m easy going in a shared living environment and like to keep busy doing different activities. I attend Christ the King Presbyterian church and I like reading, cycling, going on adventures, and having theological conversations.
The deposit is equal to the first month’s rent and a background check will be administered by apartment management.

I am interested in renting the bedroom in your apartment. A little bit about myself: I am currently a Chinese medical interpreter at BIDMC and a postbac premed student. I work full time and study at night plus most weekends. I attend Westgate Bible Study Fellowship Online Group on Monday evenings. In my spare time, I enjoy exercising and find cooking really therapeutic. If possible, my move-in date will be the end of February (current lease ends on 2/28) but open to moving in a few days earlier if needed.
