DESCRIPTION:Typically\, a semi-truck bringing food into Boston isn’t a reason to gather\, but there’s a special truckload of food being brought in on Friday\, April 10th\, at 9:00am.  A tractor-trailer full of non-perishable food will arrive at WORK Inc. (25 Beach Street\, Dorchester) as a large-scale donation to the Mary Ann Brett Food Pantry\, as part of Boston and the Bay State’s America250 commemoration. \nWe’d love you to join us in greeting the first of 3 America250 trucks coming to Massachusetts in 2026.  These specially designated America250 semi-trucks\, organized via JustServe.org\, by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints\, are a celebration of our nation’s 250th birthday and our national and local values of serving our communities.  Please stop by WORK Inc.’s facility at 25 Beach Street on the morning of April 10th and join us in celebrating community service in Boston!

DESCRIPTION:Our finale concert for the 2025-2026 United Gospel Experience Tour will be on Saturday April 18 from 4:30pm to 6:30pm at Morningstar Baptist Church\, 1257 Blue Hill Ave\, Mattapan\, MA 02126. \nCentered on the theme “Come together\, stay together\, worship together” (Mt. 18:20)\, the tour centers on Jesus’ promise that “where two or three gather in my name\, there am I with them.” In these challenging times\, our prayer is that\, through this united worship\, God’s Spirit will move mightily to bring healing\, reconciliation\, and new life.
