It’s for those who have struggled with how the church presented their gendered role in society. It’s for those who are seeking a moment of pause and reflection amid the chaos of life. \nThis play is a reckoning of faith and silence using women’s true stories to fill the gap between both. It is an act of justice in the name of women who were misunderstood\, misinterpreted\, never talked about\, twisted for the sake of someone else’s narrative. We tell their stories — honestly\, rawly\, creatively\, humorously\, poignantly. It is an act of truth-telling in the name of women today who do not get heard or believed or whose own stories have been twisted. We bring the ancient and modern voices to life and show they are not that different from one another. It is an act of faith that asks our actors and audiences to trust that God is behind this work and because that’s true\, what is He asking us to do differently with our storytelling and listening?
