SUMMARY:Stand With Haitian Families: An Urgent Call for Sister Churches Across Greater Boston
DESCRIPTION:An opportunity for faith communities to come together in a time of great need. \nAcross Massachusetts\, thousands of Haitian immigrant families are facing profound uncertainty as changes in immigration policies threaten their legal status\, employment\, family stability\, and sense of security. Many of these families are deeply rooted in local congregations\, where churches have become places of refuge\, hope\, and community. \nNow is a critical time for faith communities across Greater Boston to come alongside our Haitian neighbors in tangible and meaningful ways. \nWelcomeNST\, a nonprofit organization committed to supporting immigrant and refugee families\, is inviting local churches to become Sister Churches by partnering with Haitian congregations throughout Greater Boston. \nThe vision is simple: connect congregations with resources and volunteers to immigrant-serving churches whose members are navigating significant legal and personal challenges. Together\, we can provide practical assistance\, build lasting relationships\, and remind vulnerable families that they are not alone. \nWhat Does Becoming a Sister Church Involve? \nWe are seeking congregations willing to make three manageable commitments: \n1. Contribute $1\,000 toward immigration legal services. These funds will help provide critical legal consultations and guidance to Haitian individuals and families. \n2. Recruit 10–15 volunteers to assist with a Legal Consultation and Family Preparedness Day hosted at the partner Haitian church. Volunteers will help with hospitality\, event logistics\, and supporting participating families. \n3. Build relationships that extend beyond a single event. Our hope is that these gatherings will create opportunities for ongoing friendship\, encouragement\, and practical support as individual family needs arise. \nWelcomeNST will coordinate the legal resources\, event planning\, and logistics\, making it possible for participating churches to have a meaningful impact without taking on the responsibility of organizing a new ministry initiative. \nWhy Now? \nThe challenges facing Haitian families are immediate\, and the need for trusted community support is growing. Local Haitian pastors are working tirelessly to care for their congregations\, but they cannot—and should not—have to carry this burden alone. \nThis is an opportunity to put our shared values of compassion\, hospitality\, justice\, and love of neighbor into action. \nWhether your congregation is large or small\, established or newly planted\, your church can make a meaningful difference. \nWill Your Church Say Yes? \nWhen communities of faith stand together\, hope becomes tangible. \nTo learn more or explore becoming a Sister Church\, please contact: \nKasey Dillon\nWelcomeNST\nkdillon@welcomenst.org \nTogether\, we can ensure that our Haitian neighbors are met not with isolation\, but with compassion\, community\, and hope. \n

SUMMARY:Come\, Holy Spirit
DESCRIPTION:This is B1 Ministry’s fourth women’s conference—and what began as a vision to bring women of faith together from across Boston and New England has grown into something truly special. \nOur first conference\, Intentionally Placed\, took place in 2021\, followed by Welcoming Joy in 2023 and Jesus\, Savior\, Healer\, Friend in 2024. If you’ve joined us before\, you know what makes these gatherings so meaningful: a room full of women\, beautiful worship\, thoughtful teaching\, honest conversation\, time to reflect\, and those unexpected moments that stay with you long after the day is over. \nIf you’ve never been\, this is a wonderful time to join us. \nThis year\, we’re turning our attention to the Holy Spirit—who He is\, how He works in our lives\, and what it can look like to become more aware of His presence. As the third person of the Trinity\, the Holy Spirit is not simply a theological idea to understand\, but God’s presence with us—guiding\, challenging\, comforting\, and transforming us in ways that can change how we see ourselves\, our relationships\, and our everyday lives. \nWe hope you’ll come curious\, open\, and ready for a meaningful day together. \nEarly Bird Ticket Prices End on October 20\, 2026
