SUMMARY:"That They May Be One" Film Release
DESCRIPTION:In theaters May 19th and 20th only! \n“That They May Be One” – A Docudrama on Unity in Christ\nOn the night before His crucifixion\, Jesus prayed a prayer that still echoes across the Church today: “That they may all be one.” (John 17) \nFeaturing Francis Chan and Christian leaders from across denominations\, That They May Be One is a powerful docudrama exploring how the Holy Spirit has been quietly working across generations to answer that prayer. \nThe film uncovers a remarkable story of God’s providence unfolding for more than a century. From the urgent prayers of St. Elena Guerra\, which inspired Pope Leo XIII to consecrate the twentieth century to the Holy Spirit\, to the dramatic outpouring of the Spirit in Topeka\, the historic revival at Azusa Street\, and the surprising awakening among Catholics at Duquesne University in 1967\, a powerful thread emerges. \nThrough compelling testimony\, historical insight\, and dramatic reenactments of Pentecost and Jesus’ prayer in John 17\, the film reveals the Holy Spirit’s work across denominational lines – calling the Church to renewal\, awakening\, and unity. \nThat They May Be One is more than a documentary – it’s an invitation to rediscover the Spirit who is still moving today. \nLearn More  \nTicket Information Here – Playing in Danvers\, Bellingham\, Marlborough\, Methuen\, and more!

SUMMARY:UniteBoston’s Annual Fundraising Celebration & Community Gathering
DESCRIPTION:You are invited to UniteBoston’s Fundraising Celebration and Community Gathering on Friday\, May 29 from 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm at the Bruce C. Bolling Building in Roxbury. This will be an evening of celebration with food\, joy\, and an opportunity to partner with us in our bridge-building work across Greater Boston. \nOur theme this year is “Illuminate.” In a time when division and uncertainty can feel heavy\, we believe Christ calls us to shine (Mt 5:16)—bringing light to hard places\, clarity to confusion\, and hope to weary hearts. At UniteBoston\, we are committed to equipping Christians to be peacemakers and bridge-builders—agents of unity\, reconciliation\, justice\, and repair. Illuminate reflects our prayer that the Church would not hide its light but embody it boldly and beautifully for the good of our city. Here is our Fundraising Letter \nThis year’s keynote speaker is Rozella Haydée White\, a public theologian and “Love Big” coach. Dedicated to nurturing a love that is life-giving\, justice-seeking\, and restorative\, she has authored a book entitled Love Big: The Power of Revolutionary Relationships to Heal the World. \nRozella’s work deeply aligns with UniteBoston’s mission to heal divisions and strengthen the Church’s collective witness. Over the past year\, she has also played a vital role behind the scenes\, working directly with Rev. Kelly and Rev. Devlin as a coach for a capacity-building grant initiative. We are thrilled to have her voice guide us faithfully illuminating the gospel and bearing witness to Christ’s reconciling work in our beloved city. \n \nThe evening will also include a conversation with Rev. Kelly and Rev. Devlin\, stories of impact from our UniteBoston community\, and creative expressions that reflect the heart of this year’s theme\, including: \n\nConvene: The Power of Collaborative Conversations for City-Wide Gospel Movement by Rev. Melinda Priest\nTestimony about Beloved Community Lab by Rev. Gina Tillotson-Cordy\nPoems on “Illuminate” by Bill Ivanov and Dzidzor Azalgo\nClosing Song led by Rev. Devlin Scott\n\nJoin us to connect with friends old and new—and to discover how you can participate in God’s reconciling\, restoring\, peacebuilding work through UniteBoston. \nWe’re excited to offer FREE childcare during the event\, provided by safe and vetted volunteers. Children do not need a ticket to the event\, but advance registration is required. \nThis gathering will take place at the Bruce Bolling Municipal Building in Nubian Square\, 2300 Washington St\, Roxbury\, MA 02119. Local parking lots include the large City of Boston Municipal Parking Lot #33 around the corner of the building. \nWe can’t wait to gather\, celebrate\, and shine together.  REGISTER BELOW \nTicket Options:\n\nGeneral Admission: $50\nStudent Admission: $25\nVolunteers: Free (Register Here)\n\n \nOur Goal: Raising $40\,000\nYour generous contributions will directly support our efforts to fortify Christian unity in Boston through strategic planning\, staff and consultant support\, and partnerships with local ministries. \nThank you for partnering with us to God’s work towards reconciliation\, justice\, and peacemaking in our city. If you have any questions or need further information\, please feel free to reach out. SUMMARY:Transformational Listening: Soul Care Companions (TL1)
DESCRIPTION:“I don’t want to walk away from God or my faith\, but I don’t quite know how to walk with other Christians anymore…” \nPerhaps you’ve said this yourself\, had others confide something similar to you\, or read in between the lines on social media posts. Whatever the case may be\, this is something we hear & not just in the younger generations! When someone shares this with us\, we don’t actually get discouraged\, but hopeful. Hopeful\, because we recognize the longing in them for a vulnerable relationship with God & one another that opens the door for true community. We believe one of the ways forward is through listening. But not just any listening\, true contemplative & transformational listening that builds change & community. 10 years ago\, we created our Transformational Listening: Soul Care Companions course with this in mind. Today it holds up to the test of time. Listening to God & one another makes a lasting difference. We can be contemplatives in action creating change in our inner lives with Christ & in our communities as we love one another. We have offered this course to church groups\, organizations\, & strangers that become lifelong friends. And now\, we are offering it again to you. Will you join us?

SUMMARY:RCCI's Community Gathering & Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:In the midst of the racism and polarization in our word\, the Church must rise up and be a faithful witness. We must choose to model the way of Jesus – who speaks truth\, embodies love\, and affirms the dignity of every image bearer. \nBut how are we to do this? And how are we to sustain this work in these challenging times? \nYou are invited to connect in community\, be encouraged\, and get equipped to be a faithful witness to Jesus. Come to RCCI’s Community Gathering & Fundraiser at 5pm on June 6th. \nLearn how others are resisting racism and sustaining their shalom-building work. You are not alone. Together we can grow in our faith\, expand our imaginations\, and find creative ways to continue Christ’s redemptive work across racial lines. \nPlease RSVP at https://tinyurl.com/376355mp. \nHope to see you there! \nMegan & the RCCI team
