SUMMARY:Global Leadership Summit
DESCRIPTION:Join us at this summer’s Global Leadership Summit.\nHosted at both Grace Chapel & North River Church (August 6 & 7) \nThe Global Leadership Summit is one of the largest leadership conferences in the world. In this two-day event you’ll engage with other local leaders as you hear prominent experts from both the marketplace and ministry share their wisdom.  This will help you: \n-Become better leaders\n-Tackle leadership challenges\n-Refine strategy\n-Build a thriving culture. \nThe GLS is perfect for both individuals and teams who want to grow their leadership skills.  In 2025 over 350\,000 people attended in over 110 countries.  The GLS is run live from Willow Creek Church in Chicago\, and livestreamed to thousands of host sites worldwide including in the Boston area Grace Chapel in Lexington\, Watertown and Wilmington\, and North River Church in Pembroke.  For more info checkout www.GlobalLeadership.org/Summit\,  or contact Grace Chapel (www.Grace.Org/GLS) or North River Church (www.NorthRiverChurch.org) \n\nFrom Pastor Stephen Nyakairu:\n\nHere are just two testimonies from leaders who have attended the Summit through Grace Chapel:\n\n\n“As a police chief\, I am selective about how I invest my time and professional development resources. I initially questioned whether a leadership conference delivered through a local host site could provide the same value as attending in person\, but I was pleasantly surprised by both the quality of the speakers and the relevance of the content. Through Grace Chapel\, I experienced the Summit in a live host-site setting that created an engaging atmosphere and sense of connection\, making it feel as though we were part of a much larger event.\nThe Global Leadership Summit delivered practical leadership lessons\, diverse perspectives\, and a positive message that could be applied immediately within our organization. I found the experience so valuable that the following year I sent more than half a dozen members of my leadership team to attend.\nInvesting in the development of our people is one of the most important responsibilities of any leader\, and the Summit provides an outstanding opportunity to do just that. We intend to continue sending members of our department in the years ahead and would recommend the experience to leaders in public safety\, government\, business\, and nonprofit organizations alike.”\n—Justin M. Hanrahan\nChief of Police\, Watertown Police Department\n\n\n“As the CEO of a small business\, I was always on the outlook for time- and cost-effective ways to grow my team and invest in them personally and professionally. I found the Global Leadership Summit to be the perfect combination of both of these goals. I had my local team join me and asked others across the country to find a host site near them which meant no one had to travel to hear these world-class speakers. We had some fun and important conversations in the weeks following the event. And\, I also had each person buy a book from their favorite speaker and we used that as a future way to share across the team what we were learning and putting into practice to grow our business.”\nRegistration Link:\nhttps://brushfire.com/610280 \n\n\nEarly Ticket is $149 per person.\n\nEnter a quantity of 2 (registrations must be purchased in pairs to receive this promotion).\nComplete the required questions\, including organization information.\nRegister each attendee and enter their email address.\nEnter the promo code: FIRSTTIMEFRIEND\nProceed to checkout and confirm that the discount has been applied.\nEnter payment information and submit registration.\nEach registered attendee will receive an email confirmation with their ticket information.

SUMMARY:Join the Online Beloved Community Lab Cohort
DESCRIPTION:Monthly on Thursdays\, 10:00AM to 1:00PM | Starts October 1 | Application Due August 21 \n– Do you long for a depth of unity that honors our unique cultures\, backgrounds\, and experiences\, rather than ignoring them?-  \n– How do we follow Jesus’ call to love our neighbors – and our enemies – while holding fast to our deepest convictions? \n– Do you want to explore how our differences can strengthen our connections to one another instead of fracturing us apart?  \n– Do you long for the Church to be known for what we are for\, rather than what we are against?  \n– Do you desire to be an ambassador of reconciliation and grow in learning how to lead your community in the peacemaking\, reconciling Way of Jesus?    \n– Do you have a longing to see the Church get beyond our fractured witness? \nIf these questions stir up something inside you\, then the Beloved Community Lab might be for you! \n\nA New Kind of Leadership for a Divided Time \nDespite Jesus’ clear mandate for unity and welcoming all to the table\, churches remain some of the most divided institutions in our society. With over 45\,000 Christian denominations and countless divides over race\, gender\, theology\, and politics\, the Church’s fractured witness stands in stark contrast to Jesus’ prayer that we would be one (John 17). \nA team of diverse Christian leaders in Boston recognized this gap and came together to ask:\nWhat kind of discipleship is needed to form leaders who uphold God’s call for unity and oneness in today’s world? \nThrough prayer\, study\, and listening\, UniteBoston has been on a three-year journey of developing the Beloved Community Lab\, a unique opportunity for Christian leaders to come together across lines of difference to learn and practice unity\, justice\, and reconciliation in their leadership contexts. \nWe call this a “lab” because it combines core theological concepts with real-world application through case studies\, interactive exercises\, and spiritual practices. This cohort is a space for spiritual formation—shaping participants into peacemakers and reconcilers\, growing into the life and way of Jesus. Read the story and fruit emerging behind about our pilot cohort here and a reflection by cohort alum Dr. Michael James. \nIf we want to see a different kind of world and a more embodied Christian witness\, we must become different kinds of people. Our pilot Beloved Community Lab cohort is an experiment in Christian unity that seeks to change not just what we know\, but how we live. \n\nDetails  \nWHEN: Thursdays from 10:00AM to 1:00PM EST (Approx every three weeks) \nFORMAT: Zoom \nCOST: $600 to $1000 (Sliding scale) \nAPPLICATION DEADLINE: August 21\, 2026 \nWHO SHOULD APPLY:\nChristian leaders who value unity\, reconciliation\, and justice—and want to grow in living these out. We are seeking to convene a cohort community that come from a wide range of denominational\, theological\, racial/ethnic\, and generational backgrounds. This cohort in particular is designed for Christian leaders who are interested in bringing the Beloved Community Lab to their contexts and cities. \nClick here to see the Beloved Community Lab Cohort PDF to learn more about the vision\, dates\, core competencies\, and more. \n\nWe believe there’s no better time than now for Christ followers to prioritize the ministry of reconciliation by engaging well across our deep differences – serving as peacemakers in our fractured world. Today’s algorithms and silos will seek to keep us fractured and divided\, but God calls us to a different way.  \nSome of the most transformational moments in life happen when we journey with others. Are you ready to walk the uniting\, reconciling way of Jesus—with courage\, compassion\, and community? \nApply by August 21 to join the pilot cohort. \nLet’s grow together as peacemakers in a fractured world.

SUMMARY:UniteBoston’s Annual Fundraising Celebration & Community Gathering
DESCRIPTION:You are invited to UniteBoston’s Fundraising Celebration and Community Gathering on Friday\, May 29 from 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm at the Bruce C. Bolling Building in Roxbury. This will be an evening of celebration with food\, joy\, and an opportunity to partner with us in our bridge-building work across Greater Boston. \nOur theme this year is “Illuminate.” In a time when division and uncertainty can feel heavy\, we believe Christ calls us to shine (Mt 5:16)—bringing light to hard places\, clarity to confusion\, and hope to weary hearts. At UniteBoston\, we are committed to equipping Christians to be peacemakers and bridge-builders—agents of unity\, reconciliation\, justice\, and repair. Illuminate reflects our prayer that the Church would not hide its light but embody it boldly and beautifully for the good of our city. Here is our Fundraising Letter \nThis year’s keynote speaker is Rozella Haydée White\, a public theologian and “Love Big” coach. Dedicated to nurturing a love that is life-giving\, justice-seeking\, and restorative\, she has authored a book entitled Love Big: The Power of Revolutionary Relationships to Heal the World. \nRozella’s work deeply aligns with UniteBoston’s mission to heal divisions and strengthen the Church’s collective witness. Over the past year\, she has also played a vital role behind the scenes\, working directly with Rev. Kelly and Rev. Devlin as a coach for a capacity-building grant initiative. We are thrilled to have her voice guide us faithfully illuminating the gospel and bearing witness to Christ’s reconciling work in our beloved city. \n \nThe evening will also include a conversation with Rev. Kelly and Rev. Devlin\, stories of impact from our UniteBoston community\, and creative expressions that reflect the heart of this year’s theme\, including: \n\nConvene: The Power of Collaborative Conversations for City-Wide Gospel Movement by Rev. SUMMARY:"That They May Be One" Film Release
DESCRIPTION:In theaters May 19th and 20th only! \n“That They May Be One” – A Docudrama on Unity in Christ\nOn the night before His crucifixion\, Jesus prayed a prayer that still echoes across the Church today: “That they may all be one.” (John 17) \nFeaturing Francis Chan and Christian leaders from across denominations\, That They May Be One is a powerful docudrama exploring how the Holy Spirit has been quietly working across generations to answer that prayer. \nThe film uncovers a remarkable story of God’s providence unfolding for more than a century. From the urgent prayers of St. Elena Guerra\, which inspired Pope Leo XIII to consecrate the twentieth century to the Holy Spirit\, to the dramatic outpouring of the Spirit in Topeka\, the historic revival at Azusa Street\, and the surprising awakening among Catholics at Duquesne University in 1967\, a powerful thread emerges. \nThrough compelling testimony\, historical insight\, and dramatic reenactments of Pentecost and Jesus’ prayer in John 17\, the film reveals the Holy Spirit’s work across denominational lines – calling the Church to renewal\, awakening\, and unity. \nThat They May Be One is more than a documentary – it’s an invitation to rediscover the Spirit who is still moving today. \nLearn More  \nTicket Information Here – Playing in Danvers\, Bellingham\, Marlborough\, Methuen\, and more!

SUMMARY:Solving The World's Greatest Problems
DESCRIPTION:Join us on Friday\, May 8 for an 8:30-12:30 dive into Solving the World’s Greatest Problems.  We’re looking to gather 40-50 Christian leaders from across the Boston area to watch a 2 ½ hour videocast of a recent well-regarded event on this topic that included several known Christian leaders (for example\, Tim Tebow).   We’ll then dive into table discussions about what we can do together to actually solve some of the biggest problems that New England faces.  Ideally we’ll come out of this with a rough framework for an action plan with some next steps.  We’ll be meeting at Grace Chapel in Lexington.  Cost is $39\, lunch is included. \nFor more info and to register\, click here

DESCRIPTION:Date: May 4\, 2026Time: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PMLocation: Second Church in Dorchester | 44 Moultrie St. Dorchester\, MA 02124 \nAbout the Event \nUniteBoston is partnering with Arrabon for Rooted in Justice\, a one-day workshop intensive designed for those who walk closely with teenagers ages 13–17. This training is for youth pastors\, ministry leaders\, mentors\, parents\, and caregivers who are navigating the complexities of forming faith in a world shaped by trauma\, division\, and deep questions about justice\, belonging\, and hope. \nThis immersive day invites participants into a space of formation\, not just information. This intensive also serves as an entry point into the larger Rooted in Justice cohort journey\, including opportunities for continued formation and a potential immersion experience in Montgomery\, Alabama. \nCome ready to be equipped\, challenged\, and rooted more deeply in walking with the next generation to follow Jesus. \nWe’re able to offer this event for FREE – please REGISTER HERE and help to spread the word!

Our attendees will benefit from unique opportunities to network and engage with an untapped network of Christian professionals and entrepreneurs.
