This study is a chance to move beyond feeling overwhelmed by the homelessness crisis and explore a faith-based approach to engaging with it. \nThe book\, written by minister and advocate Kevin Nye\, demystifies complex issues like affordable housing\, addiction\, and mental illness\, while re-envisioning our theological response. It offers a powerful message: Jesus\, from the margins\, has something to teach us all about grace that could change the landscape of homelessness and our response to it. \nWe’ll meet every other Tuesday 7:30 -9 via Zoom starting 9/23. DESCRIPTION:The Feast of St. Francis is this week. Many churches hold wonderful ‘Blessing of the Animals’ services to celebrate this Feast Day. YOU are invited to join us at the Cathedral Church of St. Paul for our service – and bring your pets! \nAs well as the blessing of the animals\, our service will include special prayers and a locavore lunch. AND what makes our service really special – at the end we’ll be joined outside by the Park Rangers’ horses\, for a special blessing! \nAll are welcome – please join us\, and bring your animal friends (real or toy)!
