DESCRIPTION:Grace Preparatory Academy is currently looking for families interested in joining a dynamic community of home schooling families who are served by Grace Prep’s two day a week school.  We would love to speak with families who would like to learn more or who are interested in applying.  Grace Prep has served families from dozens of churches\, backgrounds\, and denominations. \nGrace Preparatory Academy of Greater Boston is a private\, non-denominational Christian\, university-model school that takes the best attributes of homeschooling and combines them with the best attributes of traditional\, Christian education. Our mission is to partner with families to create an educational environment which inspires a love for learning and a hunger for the kingdom of God.\n\nClasses are offered at affordable rates to children in Kindergarten through grade 5.\nStudents attend Grace Prep Mondays and Wednesdays and learn at home on Tuesdays\, Thursdays\, and Fridays.\nStudents are taught by certified/qualified teachers in multi-grade classrooms.\nParents follow teacher-directed curriculum covering Math\, English Language Arts\, Science\, History\, Art\, Music\, and Character Training.\nGrace Prep Boston is transitioning to a University Model® school associated with University Model Schools International (www.umsi.org).

DESCRIPTION:Interfaith Youth Initiative 2018 Summer Fellowship\n“The Way Forward: Forging Common Ground Amidst Beautiful Difference”\nAugust 1-7\, 2018 \nBrandeis University\, Waltham\, MA \nApplications are due May 1\, 2018 \nIFYI Fellowship is an interfaith immersion experience for young leaders (ages 15-19) providing an opportunity to meaningfully engage together with important global and local issues through the lens of their different religious\, ethnic\, cultural\, economic\, social and political backgrounds. We shape Fellows through experiential and interactive facilitation and mentorship in leadership\, bridge-building\, mutual learning and service and social action. Program consists of community building activities\, workshops\, artistic expression\, field trips\, service\, theological dialogue and reflection\, and more! More than ever\, we need the leadership and vision of youth grounded in the wisdom of our great faith traditions! \nThis is an interfaith program\, and we recognize the need for Christians to get to know our neighbors of other faith traditions.
