DESCRIPTION:Are you looking for a place to connect\, share life and grow in your relationships with God and with others! \nJoin us at Winter Street Wednesdays hosted at Boston Dream Center in downtown Boston! \nOur next group begins on Wednesday\, October 3rd – we will be going the book Emotionally Healthy Spirituality by Pete Scazzero. \n“Can Christians grow spiritually while remaining emotionally immature? Scazzero believes the answer is no—our souls and psyches are inextricably linked! Readers will find seasoned advice on how to slow down and develop a truly transformational relationship with Christ. You’ll learn to identify unhealthy spirituality\, grow through grief and loss\, and more. This updated edition serves as the core text for The Emotionally Healthy Spirituality Course.” \nPete uses the illustration of the iceberg because with icebergs only 10% is visible above the surface while 90% is below the surface\, unseen and often un-dealt with.  For most of us\, people around us see the 10% but they do not see or know what goes on beneath ’the surface’ of our lives.  With this course we go to the 90% and deal with the unseen parts of our life to attend to vital parts that often are not dealt with. To grow in our walk with God we often need to ‘go back – to go forward’. We will focus on caring for our souls and going deeper in our relationships with God and with others.\nThis is an 8 week group – meeting each week\, starting October 3rd. \nTime is 6pm-8pm
