SUMMARY:Rediscover the Sabbath
DESCRIPTION:We live now in a religiously pluralistic society where you can work every day if you want to. The thing is\, God’s commandment still stands: “Keep holy the Lord’s Day.” So how\, as a contemporary Christian\, do you do that? We will look at the rich spirituality underlying a Sabbath practice\, as well as some practical\, how-to considerations for reactivating and implementing this life-giving discipline in our living. \nAs the first of a monthly series of talks on holistic spirituality for Christian living\, Fr. Tom Ryan\, CSP\, presents Rediscover the Sabbath on September 21st from 7-8:15pm in the Seminar Room (second floor).
