DESCRIPTION:From February 21st to March 28th\, we are going to have a 6 week Lenten Study on the book titled: Disunity in Christ: Uncovering the Hidden Forces that Keep Us Apart. \nThis will take place on Wednesday nights at 7:30 pm\, following community dinner. \nDuring this Lenten season of reflection\, we will explore the deep and important realities which work to keep the body of Christ divided. Lent provides a built in time for introspection and this particular book asks us to reflect on issues of division within the\nChristian community and abroad. \n“Despite Jesus’ prayer that all Christians “be one\,” divisions have been epidemic in the body of Christ from the beginning to the present. We cluster in theological groups\, gender groups\, age groups\, ethnic groups\, educational and economic groups. We criticize freely those who disagree with us\, don’t look like us\, don’t act like us and don’t even like what we\nlike.
